Lema borne in 1949 in Erba in a small room. Today the company, with its operating center in Albavilla, has a production complex which covers an area of more than three thousand square meters.
After more than fifty years of experience in the production of moulds and presses for ceramic tiles ' market, the trademark has become a recognized name around the world.
At beginning of the '80 we felt that this market was ready to accept presses of contained tonnage for production of special pieces, trims and mosaic. This new product met a lot of success on national and international market.
Being producer both of presses and moulds for special pieces, allow us to offer to our client excellent qualitative results, because where the press doesn't arrive, it's required the help to the mould's typology and vice versa, where the mould doesn't arrive, it's required the help to the press' typology.
We cannot say that today Ceramic Plants which are using our presses and moulds for special pieces can avoid to have their own good technicians as responsible people of press branch, but we can say that these technicians are helped and supported by our own products which allows then to produce pieces of remarkable difficulty with all the required tranquillity.

Today in Lema, Jonathan and Cristiana, who represent the third Ponzoni's generation, are already an active part of the Company.
Also for them, as it was for the grandfather Luigi and as it's for their father Pierluigi, the most important thing is the following : to do to the clients always more quality and technology where it's possible.
During this half century of activity, we hope to have done a remarkable support to the development of this branch.
